Easy Cook Brown Rice
Brown rice is a kitchen staple that is easy to prepare that pairs well with many dishes. Prepare this easy, no fuss recipe while also preparing (and to pair with) Turkey Burgers or Cowboy Caviar.

Ingredients
1 3⁄4 c brown rice (long-grain or regular)
1⁄2 t salt
4 1⁄2 c water (or low sodium broth)
Instructions
- Combine brown rice, salt and 4½ cups water in a large pot and bring to a boil.
- Turn heat down to low. Cover and cook about 30-40 minutes, until water is absorbed.

*A rice cooker may be used with the same quantity of brown rice and water.
