Shining the light on accomplishments, innovations and WIC stars
The USDA, Food and Nutrition Service Northeast Regional Office has captured accomplishments and innovations related to promoting breastfeeding throughout their region. Read about state and local efforts within the Northeast Region, and meet a few of their WIC stars. In this compilation, they:
- highlight 18 Breastfeeding of Excellence awardees, including the only Elite winner in the nation,
- spotlight a breastfeeding peer counselor working in a local Rhode Island WIC clinic,
- feature an article following up on year two of the Breastfeeding Curricula collaboration,
- highlight state and local National Breastfeeding Month celebrations,
- link to new breastfeeding video from MA WIC,
- and produced a 4-part video on the Regional WIC Meeting.
